Dr. Muth is a doctor who has literally “healed herself“.  During her twenties, serious health problems began to interfere with her career.  After a string of mainstream doctors failed to help her, Debra began investigating natural medicine to restore her health. The many holistic disciplines she discovered improved her health so dramatically that she earned credentials in them in order to help others.    

 

 She has been in active practice for more than fifteen years. She is well respected by her patients and colleagues for treating her patients as individuals. Debra closely follows recommended guidelines and most recent updates in the management of peri/menopause, as a strong believer in the power, safety and efficacy of bio-identical, plant-derived hormonal therapy, she has successfully treated thousands of patients suffering from peri/menopausal symptoms using bio-identical hormones. Debra is a Board Certified Anti-Aging Specialist through American Academy of Anti-Aging & Regenerative Medicine (A4M), an organization of which she has been a member for several years. Within the 10,000 members of A4M, only 2,000 are board certified health care practitioners and Dr. Muth is one of only a few located in Wisconsin. The Board Certification Competency Examination qualifies Dr. Muth to be an active anti-aging practitioner, highly qualified to consult, diagnose and treat women and men through the midlife transition.   

 

She is also a Lyme Literate practitioner trained by Dr. Meress and Dr. Horowitz leaders in the treatment of chronic Lyme disease.  She is one of six practitioners in the state who treat chronic Lyme disease. She treats chronic Lyme disease in adults from around the state of Wisconsin and coordinates care with other Lyme Literate doctors around the state.   

  

 

 

Debra is one of the most sought after and renowned speakers in complimentary medicine.  She has over 15 years of clinical and practice management experience.  She presents postgraduate seminars for health care professionals nationwide throughout the year.  She also provides seminars to the general public in the management of male and female hormonal therapy, osteoporosis and weight loss. These seminars allow her to share her love of health and nutrition in a powerful, easy-to-learn, and motivating style.  She is a contributing author to Stephanie Moran’s book Audacious Aging.  She is the creator of two separate CD recordings entitled “Hormones, Hormones, Hormones”, and “How Your Thyroid Works” that provide you with everything you need to know about treating these conditions.
